Logline: On the day that most couples dream about, nearly everything that could go wrong on a date does.

Production Overview: Originally visiting Los Angeles to reconnect with friends, Weinstein and Feder decided to experiment bringing their film equipment through the TSA. With surprising ease, they landed in the City of Angels and reached out to their friends to film something in the short time they were there. Rey Zane, founder of ZINC Productions, took them up on their offer, and from a riff about drones, DRONES was conceived. Made in less than a week, DRONES shows raw daisies’ quick, professional, and collaborative nature as well as Weinstein and Feder’s gung-ho attitude to travel 3,000 miles with their equipment literally on their backs on their supposed vacation.
