Logline: When Kat abandons her family in a time of grief, her brother Dana follows her into the woods to bring her back.

Production Overview: Written at the beginning of 2020 at the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, Shiva is an exercise in pandemic-era filmmaking. Minimalist in every aspect, it was rehearsed, acted and shot with a cast and crew of only three people. Drawing on his experience as a playwright, Feder attempts with this film to explicate one of drama’s most enduring questions: How can people who love each other also be the cause of each other’s misery?
